1. The conference scientific committee will select the best high-quality full papers presented at DTS2026 and provide reliable and in-depth feedback on the manuscripts’ potential for formal submission to the journals presented at the conference, while still undergoing rigorous blind peer review in accordance with their own specific editorial policies. Participation in the conference does not guarantee the paper’s publication in these journals.
2. A small number of noteworthy papers may also be identified for potential fast-track consideration by the Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management and TQM, while remaining fully subject to their independent and rigorous blind peer-review processes. To be eligible for such consideration, authors must indicate in their cover letter that their manuscript was presented at DTS2026.
3. The Conference organisers will encourage authors of high-quality and relevant full papers presented at DTS2026 to submit their manuscripts to the call for papers “Artificial Intelligence and Bias: Questions, Challenges and Opportunities for Entrepreneurship” from the “International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior Reserarch” (Emerald). All submissions will undergo IJEBR’s independent peer review process, in line with the journal’s policy. Authors will be asked to report a footnote that their paper was presented at DTS2026.
4. Authors of high-quality and relevant full papers presented in Track No. 9 “Digitalisation and Value Creation Dynamics of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems” will be invited to submit their manuscripts to the Special Issue “Digitalization and Healthcare Management: Managing Change, Enhancing Performance, and Reducing Inequalities” in the Review of Managerial Science (Springer).
All submissions will undergo the independent peer-review process of the journal, in accordance with its editorial policies. Authors will be required to include a footnote indicating that the paper was presented at DTS2026. Please note that participation in the conference does not guarantee publication in the journal.
The Special Issue is open for submissions, with a deadline of 30 June 2026. The call welcomes contributions addressing multiple perspectives on digitalization and its impact on organizational performance, inequality reduction, and transformations within healthcarerelated environments, including studies that combine digitalization with entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem perspectives in relation to the healthcare context.
5. All the DTS2026 participants can publish their full papers or long abstracts (between 1200 and 1600 words long) as conference proceedings in the Springer book “Advanced Perspectives and Trends in Digital Transformation of Firms, Networks, and Society – 4th International Conference of the Digital Transformation Society, Naples, Italy, May 20-23, 2026”. The DTS2026 book is expected to be published in the SCOPUS-indexed “Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics” book series. Authors that decide to publish in the book should not submit the same manuscript to the above-listed journals.
Other journal publication opportunities will be communicated soon.
